What stays on your phone

The events you save, your choice of language and of light or dark, and a copy of the event list. If you turn on “Near me”, the app asks to use your location while you are using it; your location is used on the phone only, to sort events by distance, and is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.

What the app downloads

• The event list

  The app downloads it from our server, agendacultural.prismadivergente.pt. Like any web server, it keeps ordinary logs (the IP address and the time of each request) to keep the service running and safe; they are deleted after [days] days and are not linked to anything else.

• Photos

  They are loaded from agendalx.pt, the site of the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, which sees your IP address as any website does.

• The map

  It is Apple Maps, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

• Read more

  It shows the event's page on agendalx.pt in a window inside the app. That site sees your IP address and what you do on its pages, as any website does, and the window keeps no cookies, history or saved data once you close it. Links on that page to other sites open in Safari.

• Directions

  They open Apple Maps, or another map app on your phone that you choose (Google Maps, Waze or Citymapper); the app only asks your phone which of them are installed, and nothing about the answer is sent anywhere.

• Sharing

  It opens the share sheet and sends the people you share with a link on our server (agendacultural.prismadivergente.pt): if they have the app it opens on that event, and if not they see a small page that forwards them to the event on agendalx.pt. When they open the link our server sees their IP address and the time, like any web server, with the same retention as above; the page sets no cookies and uses no analytics or other sites' resources.

This website

This website sets no cookies, has no analytics and loads nothing from other sites: the fonts and images come from this server. The server keeps the ordinary logs described above. The page remembers your choice of language in your browser's local storage; none of it is sent anywhere.

Where the events come from

The Agenda Cultural de Lisboa (agendalx.pt), published by the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa as open data under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Agenda Cultural is independent and is not affiliated with the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
